    Id like to do this also, the 03 duramax fan is 1580690 on rock auto. Im putting it on a 6.2 turbo, is this a direct bolt on or am I stuck until I change to a surp belt with a 2000 water pump?

    yeah i mean it does have the same size threads and everything obviously so it has been used on something similar but the design and metal/alloys used in our blocks and the other one may be stronger or weaker

    Rear Main seal (quick question)

    when I do the rear main people have said to put loctite 515 on the main cap to help seal the oil pump plumbing. the 515 is good because it shouldn't change bearing clearances. I can't find it anywhere.:eek: What do you guys think? One guy told me to use high-tach or (Indian head) :cool:
