    We run 3,000psi on ours from stock hp to more than double stock an it helps a lot!

    Umm,fail... my transmission guy builds a stage 5 that he rates for towing with 500 hp!! For a lot less than 6,000. And he does not have failure rates like ats. Oh, and he does make good on his warranty! Towing and hi hp!

    Glad you made that clear! I agree with buying or building a trans an getting away from stock crap! In our experience here, the valvebody is the most important thing inside the transmission with the converter next!

    Lmao at the warranty claim ...... i have seen many of there trans fail but they would never stand behind there product. As far as converters, how many different brands have you run? If you like their stuff, run it. But for me, I've seen too many failures an no warranty ever ..... that alone...

    Exactly!!! An if you have any slippage in lockup you have a problem that needs addressed quickly same as if the clutch is slipping on a manual ...

    A properly built auto does not shift whenever or however it feels like. It is much more controlled than the stock junk. Also when i lock my convertor i am putting as much power down as any manual trans ....

    Not to big a job, just aggravating enuff to make a preacher cus! Lol! To change the actuator you don't need to take the turbo off. To clean the vanes you have to take it off ......

    If the truck is stock i would just put a new controller on. That's the solenoid in the center section of the turbo. We have replaced a bunch of them with never a problem since. Now, if the truck has a tuner on it the turbo needs taken off an the vanes cleaned and the controller changed .

    By the time cylinder pressure has gotten to 2000 psi you will be at full throttle and your injector pump will be making a lot more than 2100 psi!!! I'm not exactly sure what pressures these pumps are capable of but it's going to be quite a bit higher than 2000. So the pump has more than enuff...

    What is boost pressure doing? It sounds like you have a map sensor going bad or a wastegate actuator stuck an making an overboost situation where the computer is cutting fuel to keep boost around 20psi.
