The truck has taken on a strickly dedicated pulling truck role, otherwise I would just ignore it like I have the last 4 years, but otherwise that is a excellent point.
Any one ditch there ABS controller? My system has been disabled since I got the truck I'd like to get rid of that stupid box, to have more real estate under the hood for a water to air intercooler, does it control the brake lights? And does anyone know what size lines are on these trucks?
If the body work was done, it'd be a good deal aslong as he didnt cut any corners in the conversion, 6bt would be nice, but I'd like to have a 4bt for the mileage. They can be made very easily to run all over a modded 6.5 and be twice as reliable, without breaking the bank.
Hard for me to beleive theres no company in the world that can make this module right, so GM can do the right fix, and keep its customers satisfied. GM isn't the only brand to offer this, and besides $100 doesnt cover the cost of the option.
It sucks for GM, but thats not a solution that will make the 1.5 million customers affected by this happy. Like I said on another forum, I dont think anyone with heated seats or any other option would be happy with a $100 exchange.
Its for the heated windshield fluid, theres a module that I guess in rare cases an cause a fire, the company that provided them to GM went under, instead of GM providing satisfactory customer service there going to tell you to get bent give you $100 and permanently disable your heated washer...
No, just about everyone runs on Suncoast, the only time you really ever see anyone running ATS is if its the owner of a shop that sells ATS stuff or there sponsored by ATS. I got a great deal on a barely used PI Goerend triple disk converter, and I plan on getting a Suncoast Gmax kit, and...
I dont know either, I was told by a doctor once, we all have a certain immunity built up to it, but it goes away after constant exposures, until we are affected by it. Im not sure whether thats right or not, it makes sense considering when I was kid I probably rolled around in the stuff...
X2 thats amazing, I cant beleive hardly the wheel bearing assemblies have lasted so long. You havent had to replace even a rear axle seal? I can agree though I am impessed with the quality and durability of GM rotors, at 70k on my old 05 they looked brand new, same deal with the pads.
Its a Century, from the royal line, Im not a topper guy, so I dont know much about the differences but from what I can tell its a nice piece, it wont get much use, but it'll be nice to have around when I need to use it. Hunting and hauling, etc..
