IIRC, in the 80s or so, Ferrari had a system on their F1 cars that injected fuel/spark into the exhaust chamber pre turbo in an attempt to spool the turbo quicker. Here's a link on something called anti-lag.

What did you do about the fan thermostat to get between the cooling fins? Mine is pretty bad and I'd like to treat it with something that keeps ift from getting this bad again.

I started mine up without the top bracket attached and pointed it towards the ground as low as I could get it because I thought a giant air bubble would form at the top of the cooler. Someone else told me stacked plate type coolers do not trap air. Anyone know for sure?
