thanks! where did you get your fuel line disconnect tool at? im not real sure if they are all pretty much universal or what not. also I have a small little pump thing that i attach to a drill and can suck all the fuel out of the tank prior:thumbsup: we can thank my mother for that when she...
cool. if i got 1mpg better i would be excited. i will continue to use the bully dog with the truck as well. biggest reason i want the air dog is for the filtration as well. im thinking i want to install it as soon as my truck gets back with its fresh set of injectors.:smile5: how difficult...
please post the pictures! what kind of mileage difference have you noticed if any? since my truck is in the shop getting a fresh set of injectors i would like to install this wonderful filtration system as to protect the injectors and maybe pick up a few mpgs. that is unless someone buys it...
interesting. my 03 5.3 was fast. 4.10 gearing and I modded it of course but it was still faster than any other gas pickup I drove stock to stock. as far as a 19 sec quarter mile thats rediculous. my 86 s10 with a 2.8 runs a 19........
175k, new tranny and rearend(as of 1 year ago). 4inch pro comp lift with 33" tires. in good shape considering the mileage. basiclly my father is looking at it to tow his camper and drive on the beach. they are asking 6k. he really wants a diesel truck gm or dodge but is humoring gassers...
Thanks for the link. 2.8 may not have much power but this tranny has quit multiple times... considering this will be my driver when my truck sells I need it reliable.... especially if my old nissan quits running.

well she didn't want to spend any money on the truck since she wanted to get rid of it anyway. I am kinda relieved that it is all worked out and she has a decent car that gets great mileage.
My papa and I were guessing 16mpg but yeah the truck did great, it didnt have a huge load on it though like it sounds you were pulling but the exact figure was 18.2mpg. Was there something wrong with the one you were using cause this truck seems to have a lot of grunt for a gasser? Its an...
I only disagree with the v10 comment, my grandfather has a 94 ram 2500 2wd sclb v10 and its an awesome motor! given it isnt thrown real heavy loads all the time but it has carried 3k of rock, sand, saw dust and such in the bed and his last trip from jacksonville nc to charlotte he returned...
like I said, its all about the money. Not only that if a big company like ford can't get it right, what makes you think the average joe or aftermarket company can? I am not saying sfa is bad at all, I would love to have it on my s10 but I dont wanna shell out the money or waste the time on a...
how so? solid axles were around before that??? so ifs is the future? personally I think sfa are the cheaper to make strong, but ifs has more off road benefits but cost quite a bit to beef up. I see both of your points but when I was going down route 80 in iraq in a hum that ifs worked...
