just tried it on the highway, didnt smoke at all, accelerating or decelerating. Got home from that and no more smoke yet (knocks on wood). Wondering if it might have just been something that got in one of the cylinders. Runs fine btw
I should also note that this does not happen while driving at all, just occasionally at startup. Saw the big cloud of smoke and it spooked me out, so figured I probably need to find out what it is.

Ya its a pretty good truck, gets up good for a v6 (bein a reg. cab and a shortbed helps too :) ) Should keep me goin awhile. Great first vehicle. When I do upgrade Ill probably go for a 70s or 80s Ford

On my 97 GMC Sierra there are two reading lights (rectangular btw) that use a 561 bulb. How do I go about installing the bulbs? There are two prongs in each socket, but I cannot figure out how they go in. When I took them out, they popped up and out. Wished I would have left them...
