Oh ok I guess that would matter if their using the same kit and have the extra parts you need or have access for the parts you need I suppose.
That would suck if you had to spend a duece and only need part of it to complete.
Dick out. :smilielol5:
If you watch the Video on youtube by the company that sells them link above it explains the flashing.
Mine will be flashing like yours a lot. :biggrin5:
Where is the dam plug behind the black cover above the kick foot area? I've looked twice now and haven't seen it,man I hate when I'm handy-capped. :cryin:
The cover has a plastic long barrel nut on it,and looks like perhaps some clips?? I see fuses behind it also
Mike can answer it better but I'm bored and I'd throw my .02 cents in. :D
The 6 Speed Allison has addressed the issue with C2 you'll still have to do that with the 5 speed Allison. The 6 Speed Valve Body doesen't come with the Transgo Jr installed and you'd need the FULL kit for a 5 speed...
I'd appreciate some help here for a dumby.
I picked up my trailer yesterday and although empty at 4290 plus my truck stopping is marginally ok under normal conditions once I start to carry a load near my GVW of 10k I feel the brakes on the trailer will make it a safer excursion(s).
1) What...

But since your doing a full rebuild it's neither her nor there just useless info. :biggrin5:
My memory sucks
But if I recall on the 01-05 Transgo kits don't you have to change the springs on C2 return plate? In 6 speeds this isn't necessary so you can put the Jr kit in which is basically the same transgo kit but no C2 clutch springs?
So if I'm right you will need the FULL...
Before I had a built transmission I could limp my transmission just as you describe. It got easier and easier where I couldn't even roll into it at 70MPH.
I would believe at this point your C3's are pretty well burnt.
Many times I would catch it before it would neutralize itself and not code...
Ya that's what I'm gonna do. Problem is the closet one is expensive. The one I need to go to is about a 50 mile road trip. I have two right now and when I put the second one on I'm gonna stock up.
I'll say it again for some dumb ODD reason I DEFINATELY see a temperature difference. I don't get...
