putting in a big block would be a lot more work and money than some bolt on mods or even new heads and cam. would be a good option in the power department but you would see the same or worse mileage at best.

I use amsoil throughout my truck, got it much cheaper than transynd and my neighbor put bg in his dodge, he likes the stuff but noticed no difference tranny still gets hot driving on the beach, my truck stays at 160-180

My truck had the same symptoms, oil analysis and all. called my local dealer (priority chevy in greenbrier va) told them this and they said bring it in for injector replacement without any probs at all.
i lost some mpg in my nissan using mmo, but the tank after it went right back to normal. thought it was my imagination. it seemed to idle better right after startup after though.
