I use amsoil throughout my truck, got it much cheaper than transynd and my neighbor put bg in his dodge, he likes the stuff but noticed no difference tranny still gets hot driving on the beach, my truck stays at 160-180

make it breathe better, true duel exhaust, heads, cam. give it a tune up if needed too. you can get 1-2 mpg more out of it with a little work.

My truck had the same symptoms, oil analysis and all. called my local dealer (priority chevy in greenbrier va) told them this and they said bring it in for injector replacement without any probs at all.

why not just take the 05 engine and ecm? I know I saw somewhere on here where someone replaced their LB7 with a LLY before.
