This is something I have learned from being on gmt400. The Diesel K1500s like mine have the 14b sf rear end in them so thats another posible source, the 4wd 14b sf axle is 6 lug, in fact its most likely the same unit used in the K2500LD. The 1500s with the F44 option were essentially 2500 6 lug...
Not yet was too frustrated with it to continue working on it today. One thing that I seen mentioned in various trouble shooting guides is the fuel shut off solenoid can some times give trouble. I will be picking up a spare lift pump from my buddy on wed, almost kinda wondering if it isnt that...
Yes, only difference being I had a longer run time today. Im looking towards it being a damaged lift pump harness, worn out lift pump or a clogged tank sock.

Thanks for the info, I might just stay NA and set it up as a pro touring car. Ideally I would like to run a 4L80E with one of leroys optishift computers and take advantage of the dual profile programming, I would have a Touring and a Sport mode.

Good to know, So i would be best off to place the walbro in roughly the same area? and mount my pre pump filter near the fuel cell and of course a second filter in the engine bay?
Given its been known to get 20+ mpg in the 1/2 tons, yea it should. Transmission choice is still in the air...
The OPS has been bypassed. All it does is send signal to my op gauge and that's it. Previous owner ran a wire from the LP to the fuse box so it is triggered when the key is on. Next pay day i plan on getting some bulk wire and a relay then making a relay harness that will still be triggered by...
Ok I have been having a problem with my truck for awhile now and as a result have been unable to drive it for the past two weeks. The problem is it seems like it goes into a fuel starvation situation after 20-40 min of driving. The first time this problem showed up was about 4 weeks ago or so...
It is 2wd atm but it is being converted to 4x4. So thats good to know! Now i can release a bit more info...the 6.2 is going into a 1968 Chevelle SS clone. So im not really sure where i can place the pump just yet.
Ok im keeping the main details of the project this is for close to the vest for a bit till i am sure its happening. But I may wind up putting my 6.2 into something other then my '69 GMC and using my spare 6.5 Turbo Diesel in that truck instead. More then likely i will be using a fuel cell in...
Hmmm i did kick around the idea of adding a fan to the PMD when it was in the airbox in my truck but im relocating it to the front bumper once i pick up my kit from the post office tomorrow.
Ok this may seem like a redundant question but does anyone know which fuses on the fuse panel are live only when the key is on? By that i mean they only have 12v power when the key is on. Mostly need to know this so i can install the temp/compass mirror im getting from Bluex. I know the 4wd fuse...
Hey skylark! Glad to see ya over here as well. Im on gmt400 under the same sn as I am here. Now that I seen that you mentioned that your pmd has been mounted on the intake I suggest that you move it to the front bumper, that may help you make space near the valve cover for your intercooler as...
