    Pyrometer probe installation "screw-up"

After running the Heath 2.0 for about three years I went back to the stock chip while my chip was being reworked to the GL4. I was shocked at the EGT's with the stock chip. My truck normally runs at about 450 - 500 deg at 65mph and the Heath tune. With the stock chip I was easily seeing 700 -...

    ECT sensor

Thanks Chris I will check it tomorrow morning. My ECS sensor is about 2 years old and my truck starts very rough unless I set the switch to where the ECS sensor is bypassed . Other than that my truck runs perfect.

    ECS

When I go to the FAQ's it ask for what I want to search for. I have tried ECS, Engine Coolant Sensor, Coolant Sensor. What specific wording should I use? The only reason I asked here was because none of my searches seem to work.

    Time for new engine

BTW, I primed my engine with an extension on a drill and I believe a 5/16" socket secured to the extension. Actually built about 30psi of oil pressure that way. It was kinda tough hanging onto to the drill at that pressure and in such an awkward position.

    Time for new engine

I am running a 6.2 block converted to 6.5 in my truck. Mine had a pipe plug at the front of the block just like my 6.5. I used it and plugged the one above the oil filter.

    Heater Controls

Well, I just posted this on the place by accident. Forgot where I was at as it's been one of those days. When I turned my defroster on today the air continued to blow on the floor. No matter where I turned the control it never changed the airflow. The AC does not work either. I still have all...

    Turbo ID?

Thanks guys, I was just wondering if it was the stock turbo. My EGT's have not gone passed 950 even when towing a 10K fiver and no I am not complaing just wondering. Right now I am running both pre and post EGT gauges of the same make. In normal driving they read pretty much identical. When...
