The front is up tires are off and everything is sprayed with penetrating oil. I love having airtools
I really wish I had a bigger shop since my truck won't fit into mine it hangs out the garage door.
So I get to do this in the driveway in the rain again. I really want to build a 24 x 30 in...
Yeah fluid reservoir seems awfully loose I am definitely going to bleed the whole system down I just replaced both rear MC 2 yr ago think they might have gone again?
I put a reader on my 95 K2500 4WAL Kelsey Hayes and here are the codes it throws it 21 22 23 25 which is right front wheel sensor fault, missing right front wheel sensor signal, erratic right front wheel sensor, Left front speed sensor.
Ok I get the front is messed up electrically sensors...
Well along with new tires I wanted new rims was looking for PYO of a 02 or later but I came across a set of Mag Turbine rims that were just so cheap I couldn't pass them up. They need work not just sure how I am going to do them I could paint them same color as the truck. Try and polish them up...
Yeah I bought a connector from Walmart for 20.00. It had all the wires from both sides. I am not sure about the antenna.
Wire install was easy and quick. The connectors plugged right in...
Leroy is the man I may refer to him before my dealer from now on.
The truck runs great again I took some empties in for my kids I save them and donate them for sports. So I am at the return place and see a small amount of liquid dripping from the passenger side. I think now what is leaking...
Dealer will have new o-rings tmorrow. I tightened up on the platsic ring that holds the heater about 1/8 of an inch and the leak is stopped again but for how long. I will have to keep on eye on it. Damn I would like to let my hands return to their normal colour and heal some.
Spoke too soon FFM o-ring looks like it is leaking just a few drops but still not fixed time to call the dealer. I was told only stock on these is in U.S looks like I am back to no truck. Maybe I'll just pull the o-ring and get a matched one. Not very happy at the moment this truck is trying my...
It is all fixed used the last resort method to remove the quick connect. It was a PITA and cut into the housing threads some. Used some rtv on the new fitting and snugged it up all is dry. I did end up removing the cross connect housing to do the job just too much in the way to do it on the...
I was going to get some pipe style removers tomorrow. Right now I was using a spiral type extractor and agree that it seems to be applying more stress than I want to apply. The hacksaw thing is a last resort I would remove it and take it to a shop and have them remove it.
For a part that...
I have a new problem I found my fuel leaks and fixed them. However I rean the truck up and was still getting liquid in the engine valley underneath the intake. I was starting to think my entire fuel system would get replaced. I used compressed air and dried out everything I could.
Start the...
I found the fuel leaks finally fixed them all there were 3 and one was probably my fault. The o-ring on the bottom of the FFM was leaking vent cap on top of the filter as well as the drain hose into the tee fitting. The fun I am having oh boy.
I thought I did but apparently I wasn't wearing my glasses. The filter air bleed o-ring was caught between cap and the thread. I may get lucky. I haven't started it up to verify if it's the cause but I will try it tomorrow.
Thanks
Well I have good news the walbro, OPS realy, PMDcable OPS extension, ACDelco OPS, and Walking J stainless FTB. So it's been 8 days since I started this. I thought had it all done got the truck running fuel pressure gauge was reading close to 14 psi and then I start doing leak checks up top looks...
Yes I am adding the relay to the OPS harness I had a look at the sticky from Schwind. I see it back there by the GP controller. I am removing the FFM because the water drain line is leaking. I am pretty sure I could put the new hose without removing the intake but I figure one thing I have...
I found the leak it is at the fitting below the tee just enough leakage to give the truck the stumbling I guess as it heats up it leaks more. I took the upper intake off it is a F intake. Sprayed my intake bolts because it looks as though it needs to come off to get at the hose. I don't even...
It looks like I start today finding the leak and adding those parts from you. Since I'm working on the fuel system whether I like it or not. I think when I lifted the t off the Tstat I pulled something on that line but I will check that injector first.
