    OPS/Lift pump?

With truck running I opened the T valve to check for fuel. Nothing out of hose. Engine died within 30secs. I tried applying 12v to the lift pump and got nothing. I am assuming that my lift pump is bad and will replace it. Would a bad lift pump cause the ECM fuse to blow or am I looking at...

    OPS/Lift pump?

No SES light with ignition on and engine off. I did try to jump the lift pump with 12v and just got a faint click, not pumping. I replaced the fuel pump relay. No change. I do not have a code reader. All fuses are good. checked with continuity tester.

    OPS/Lift pump?

Went out and started my 2000 chevy 3500 6.5l turbo diesel yesterday. Started normally. Did a few things while it warmed up. Came back 5-10 mins later and the engine had quit. I just replaced the PMD and relocated it it the bumper a few weeks ago. Also replaced all glow plugs at that time...

    Hard to start any ideas?

Okay, I just got the drivers side GP's out. 3 wet (Fuel) one was dry. Is it safe to assume that the 3 wet ones were bad? I am assuming that when cycled on they would burn off any fuel. I am going to replace all of them. Thanks for the tip on the passenger side wheel well removal. I was...

    Hard to start any ideas?

I do have a block heater and use it. I am suspect of the glow plugs but when I called the mechanic he claimed that the truck should start with just the heater, even if glow plugs are bad. Said that the pressure generated by the pistons would start the truck. I am getting a lot of fuel when i...

    Hard to start any ideas?

So here goes. I recently purchased a 2000 Chev 3500 truck. It ran perfectly when I bought it. Started to have the symptoms of a "bad" FSD/PMD. Stalling, hard starting when warm. I also recently had a very hard time starting the truck first thing in the morning an extremely cold days (-20)...
