I dont have an inline fuel filter... Im not positive i have power during WTS but it fires for 1 second give-or-take and then nothing... i have my second lift pump accessory wired behind the Heath HO pump... as for the tank, it's was having problems even when full to the brim...
Have you pin...
Just recently I moved into a Townhouse with an attached garage and the driveways in the crescent are on quite an incline... I've always backed my vehicles in where ever i park because its easier on the transmissions to go straight to drive insead of first through reverse (when they're cold) due...
So the pulse would occur over a longer time period, just overlapped in the center.... And i agree with the single vs dual ECM's... just not sure how the ECM would react to sending a single signal to two pumps... Might have voltage/ current problems... or maybe not?
... If you plan on cutting the fender to put it in... I'd seriously reconsider.. I talked to Bill about his cold air intake not even a month ago and they did a bunch of testing... that fender actually has a ram air scoop by the passengers side headlight and it pressurizes the fender area (they...
Haha, yeah man... But i'm not sure it would be that-that much of a nightmare IF it could be run off just one ECM... Time each pump separately then have fun pourin the fuel to it (If you're a wiz programing these things)...
Of course its twin DB2's.... but that wasn't the question... The question was if twin DS4's was possible.. and if so what would be necessary... Dual ECM's + Dual FSD? or could it work with a single ECM and dual FSD's?
Thats what i was thinking... But i'm not sure if the ECM would like sending a signal to two pumps... maybe overload it or split it between the two and not work at all ... Ill have to call Bill up next time i'm home and see what he thinks... i might have a project on my hands here...
We need some you tube videos of what that ATT sounds like... I know there is one on there right now but the audio is awful... it would do no turbo (ATT or otherwise) justice with that kind of muffling...
Hey man, I'm from Canada and we have some salty winters up here and mine is doing fine... I'm not positive on the exact details but Bill Heath dunked his PMD in a pail of water and ran it for hours if not days and it never had an issue....
Point being : I'd be more scared of the engine bay...
I wonder if its possible to run dual DS4's ... Would it be necessary to have dual ECU's?... Then it could be programmed for daily driving and racing...
I have a OBD II cable for my 98 with scan XL... I'm just wondering if there is any programs out there that i can use with the cable to set the pump timing?
(DSG set mine to -2.2 and it starts like a John Deere tractor now)... For the record the Injection pump, injectors, lift pump, and...
Ah... in theory pressure would double but its unlikely in reality i'd assume if dual walbros idle at 9psi... dual (stock + HO) shouldnt out preform that... Either way i'm going to get a gauge in before i do any changes just to be sure.
I had just put a brand new lift pump in from NAPA before i bought all my stuff from Bill... So i have a HO from Bill and a stock pump so i figured id put them both in my truck after how much praise Matt gives to his dual Walbro set up...
Only thing is i dont have a fuel pressure gauge ...
I'm trying to find somthing custom as well... My brother has an 04 Duramax with an aftermarket deal which they cut the inside out and put a new chrome mesh in to replace all the missing plastic (its definitely a kit since ive seen it on other Durry's but we dont know who makes it)... It looks...
Thanks man... What i got out of that discussion is that Bosch HO's are set to a higher pop pressure than stock or Marine... so go with the Bosch HO's... Which were put in 2 weeks ago... Glad i made the right decision.
