    Sealed Power CS770

Well given that I had figures straight out of the catalog and figures on his site and they matched I knew they were the same, I just didn't know if Sealed Power called it OE and was a small upgrade/update from stock or what the deal was.

    Weird Low Coolant

Mine does the same thing when it's cold out. After driving a few minutes it goes out; doesn't do it in warm weather though.

    Sealed Power CS770

Anyone running one of these cams? I have it listed in my catalog as a OE replacement. Looking at SSD's website it's a "performance" camshaft.....just a tad confusing. I'm leaning more towards Sealed Power's advertisement as a OE replacement. Correct or no?

    Memorable PMD Moments (tell yours!)

Mine actually just happened this past Thursday. With diesel being the way it is I now drive the Suburban everywhere after work and on the weekends to "save" a little on diesel. Well after buying the "new" parts 92 Suburban I go home, eat dinner, and finish gathering what I think I'll need to tow...

    Post your Towing Pictures here!

Nah ha! I can finally participate in one of these. New parts Suburban resting safely at home.....what a pain.

    Hummer rims

Nice. It's weird (maybe I'm the only one), the reflection of the light off the snow in the first picture makes the rim look superimposed in the picture. How's the fitment in the rear? From the looks of it my rears don't sit on the wheel mounting surface; instead they hit the outside lip of the...

    New direction for the Suburban

I did think about that for the brown one but black is too hard to keep nice.

    New direction for the Suburban

I'm thinking two tone like my current Suburban but can't figure out what to use on the lower/flares. I was thinking: dark dark blue, medium-dark grey, silver frost-ish or maybe just paint the flares matte black and leave it be. Any opinions?

    New direction for the Suburban

Picked up a repo'd 92 K2500 Suburban the other night. Didn't know much about it other than a rather pristine body that was white with grey interior (score!!! I love grey interior; it's universal) and it needed rear leaf springs; the frame was sitting on the axle tubes. Too bad I'll be tearing...

    Gas vs Diesel wiring harness?

    Great. Thanks.

    Triangle Area NC GTG....

10-4. Sorry it took so long to respond haven't got to get on in the past couple days leafless Suburbans are hard to load on a trailer. Either way, lemme know.

    Gas vs Diesel wiring harness?

Eesh, looks like there's no avoiding it. What a nightmare; I already know the original harness in mine is FUBAR thanks to the POs. Well, guess I'll get a good lesson in soldering/reading electrical diagrams. Do dealers still offer service manuals for 94 model years?

Seems like it. Don't know where that's at but I'm sure I can find it. Have a time in mind?

    Gas vs Diesel wiring harness?

Found a 92 K2500 Suburban with a perfect body that (if all goes well) I will be purchasing later this week. It will be a donor body for my Sub. My question is are there any differences between the gas dash harness and diesel dash harnesses? Or are GM harness really universal (as far as...

    Vinyl headliner

Yeah....I have all of that. That was one reason I was looking at vinyl; it seems easier to handle. Adhesion of the 3m Super Trim adhesive seems to depends largely on environment applied. I did the headliner in my Jeep and it started sagging in less than two weeks. I was mad.

    Vinyl headliner

Did you have to do anything different than laying down cloth?

    Vinyl headliner

Anybody redo their headliner with vinyl instead of cloth? It's a couple bucks cheaper a yard around here and I always liked it.

    Triangle Area NC GTG....

I guess that would largely depend on if anyone else comes. Hopefully so. Either way I'm pretty flexible. I'm a steak and potatoes man so it's not too hard to please my appetite. Good burger and fries and I'm good to go. ):h
