    Rotella T6 is factory recommended in the newer Audi DI turbo engines. So you know it's good stuff. I've used Rotella conventional oil in all my engines. Including my 97 Civic and it's 1.6L 4-cyl.     I said screw it to all the ricer punks and bought 4 black "projector" headlights for my truck. Ordered them with 2 sets of bulbs, ballasts, harnesses, relays. Luckily i ordered the HID's with it, because the light output is adequate with the all black housing, but much better than stock sealed...

    The bad intake gaskets were a problem even in the Vortec 4.3, 5.0, 5.7 engines as well. I had an intake gasket leak and the subsequent mess it caused when mixed with the coolant was a mess. It inevitably clogged up most all of my cooling components. The long life coolant is not maintenance...

    My K5 w/700R4/3.42s and 35s got a measured 16MPG (US gallons, i never use the metric gallons) Which is what my parents 09 Sierra gets according to the DIC. This is an ECSB with aluminum 5.3L w/AFM so i was expecting better.

    I found going from worn out 31s to 35" KM2s wasnt nearly as bad as i expected, especially with 3.42 gears. Im sure id see some issues when towing, right when i need that torque multiplication.     I hear the bore on the 5.7L Vortecs TB was a little larger and is considered an upgrade over the stock TB. This is only what i heard, i could never find enough CSFI trucks to yank TBs off of to verify amd swap into my old 98.

    All the more reason to cut up the wiring and streamline it, run relays and get rid of the unnecessary crap. Great job on the headlights 88! Theres nothing like properly engineered headlights for getting optimal lit output.
