    6.2 turbo, I think I read earlier in this thread that you haven't done much to the bottom end except a girdle. Is this correct? Did you do the girdle? Did you align hone it with the girdle?

    Won't 5 to 51/2 cause piston slap? I'm curious because my block will be bored as soon as my pistons arrive 18:1.

    Piston to bore should be .0035-.0049 for 1-6 and .0040-.0054 for 7 & 8. That being said, I contacted peninsular about their 18 : 1 pistons and they said .0032-.0033 for 1-6 and .0037-.0038 for 7&8. That seems pretty close from what I've read but maybe that is good for 18:1.Does anyone Know...

    Wrist pin bushings

    I understand that the id of the bushing is small so the rod length can be adjusted but the shop says the rod it's self has to be bored for the bushing to be pressed in. Is this typical?
