Just the switches? ie: you have the holes in the panel? You can get basically any switches... but if you want stock function, you want to get a 3 position switch with a pull safety for one position, for service lights. Other switch is just a momentary on toggle IIRC, I'd have to go look outside...
Meh, my CUCV does just fine on its own... but I'm not winning any land speed records. The purpose is reliability for me, and it'll go through any mudhole slinging with the best of them...
Why would you want to neuter yourself... I get better economy offroad than the majority of every other rig I run with. The 6.2's got plenty of oomph to get you through whatever you need to get through.
If you have the 1 tons, get yourself some HMMWV rims... You can get 37's to fit that rig...
That looks just like the blizzard to the point I wouldn't be suprised if they licensed it FROM blizzard.. same control, same design, same everything... it's probably just a lower quality blizzard build with a different paint job sold under the Fisher name.
Dual antennae for a CB NEED to be seperated about 8 ft to get any performance gains. Those gains will be forward and backward which is why Truckers have dual antenna on the long haul rigs... plus they have the space to put them out on the mirrors so they can still throw to the rear and talk back...
Howdy gents.
This is a sort of a conglomeration post, so bear with me.
My transfer case doesn't do 4wd anymore. it's not a NBSU thing because you hear it try to actuate. So, come November when the Alaska PFD comes out, we're going to get it up on the lift at my friends place and R&R the...
Just in case you didn't know. Got a frame repair kit and brace installed on friday for the blazer... it's wonderful knowing it's not going to break now and being able to steer in the right direction.
Another reason for the circle is because we can't block the taxiway apron to the right, immediately up from the snowstack... otherwise our largest customer wouldn't be able to taxi out and burn fuel so we can make $$$$$$ refueling them. it's got to all move there, and I figure more time with a...
Here's the picture of what I have to plow at work.
Here's what they want cleared, in red. The stack area is the same as below, no choice in the matter.
Here's the recommended plow pattern by my bosses
Here's what I have been doing, as it seems more efficient and less...
yah, this is chain that was donated to me by a M88 tank recovery vehicle operator :)
Figure if it's good enough to recover an abrams I think i can use it to get my truck out of stuff
for higher end recovery straps for anything, including offroading, it's the standard to have damage/wear indicators.
I personally refuse to buy any straps that don't have them.
And as for chain... I don't think people are using big enough chain and that's 98% of the problem, the other 2%...
my strap is a 30 foot 120,000 lb working load limit, 60k basket... it's about 4" wide or so and it is beefy enough that basically if you break it you did something wrong.
check a peterbilt dealer
well I beat up my joes and fellow TL's about PMCS when I moved to alaska... last thing we needed was a stryker turned pillbox on a patrol...
vehicle crews don't like the threat of a 20 mile roadmarch if I could find a operator level problem with it, or if it was ever deadlined due to operator...
