Stanadyne or Flight Systems for a new PMD?

Yes on both counts, from all reports I have read the harness from PMD Cable is available for either the black or grey IP harness for the grey PMD`s and the flight systems PMD is a direct connect to any other black harness.

Evans NPG + watertess coolant stuff - if your rig runs hot read this

The purpose of the product is to prevent high temps from boiling off the coolant and leaving the system empty or with air pockets and have no ability to shed heat through the rest of the cooling system. The product remains a liquid up to very high temps and as such is still circulating and...

Help needed 98 Suburban - tryiing to change the CPS - fouled by the PS pump

I loosened the entire bracket that holds the A/C compressor and the PS pump and removed the rear PS bracket to get enough clearance for CPS replacement. I did not remove the PS pulley or loosen the bolts behind it.

Speedo slows down at speeds above 100km

96 C3500 with NV4500 trans. Question for the cluster/DRAC guru's,when traveling at speed on the highway my speedo works prefectly fine up to 100KPH-after that speed if I increase my speed to 110KPH the speedo reads 90KPH and continues to back off in an almost linear rate as speed increases...

    vacuum routing

In a humid climate the steel brake lines might rust inside some over time and cause problems, copper or stainless would be an excellent alternative though.

    Buying New Injectors

It is not very hard to replace the nozzles,it is setting that pressures that takes some effort. I believe there are threads here or on google detailing an injector overhaul: http://www.thetruckstop.us/forum/showthread.php?21150 Google has plans to build your own pop tester.

    Buying New Injectors

Moneyslave is out of injectors at last report. There have been good reports about Rock Auto injectors though. If you have a diesel service center nearby or a farm equipment dealer, you could save some cash by having your injectors rebuilt with Bosch,Stanadyne or Delphi nozzles.

1995 6.5 is playing "Hard to Get"... she won't start

If you have fuel when the injector is cracked open the PMD is at least working somewhat, but if you have no smoke of any kind from the exhaust-the glow plugs are not working for whatever reason. They may be burnt out from the glow override or they may not be receiving power-diagnosing the glow...

    antifreeze leak at starter?

Something is expanding and when up to temp boils most of the coolant away,I would spend my time checking the heater hose quick connect fitting on the water crossover, they are notorious for failing.

    antifreeze leak at starter?

Ok there are frost plugs in the rear of the bell housing area behind the flywheel, the block off plates are where the rear engine ground wire stud is and the mounts for the glow plug relay on the other side. They are separate from the intake manifold and cover ports on the rear valley side of...

    antifreeze leak at starter?

Keep in mind that a leak at the front of the engine will blow back to the back while driving,a leak at the coolant crossover, rear block off plates, upper rad hose,ECM coolant sensor or heater hose quick connect or return fitting will all dump into the valley and drain down around the area you are...

DP has a members loan a tool and help out thread so folks can see who is in thier area and what equipment they have to offer and willingness to lend a hand/experience.
