I've read lots about higher flow pumps, bigger fans, fan clutches, ......... but I have yet to read where anyone has addressed the rear cylinder heat issue.
Coolant enters the front of the block and goes out the front of the heads. How does the coolant ever move through the back of the block...
I need to find a better wrench, guess I'll order one or make a drive to Harbor Freight, perhaps if the Sears store wouldn't have closed.

When doing Time Set, is it normal for the Actual Injection Timing to quickly jump around a lot?
like between 2.5º and 4.5º

1st mistake, tried to do it when it's finally freezing here in S.E. Michigan, thinking I needed a new thermostat, and doing so with the engine temp under 170º
If I need to move it, I will when I find/make a wrench to get at the passenger side nut.

In my search I found a few ways to make a cable for cheap. I bought 2 of them. Will test them when they show up and if they work that will tell me the cable I paid too much for is junk.

One more test to run, make a Windows 98 boot CD, beings that's the minimum system requirements for GMTDScan Tech, and see if it works
By Monday I will have used my brothers Vista and the womans XP, if they all fail the cable is going back.
Win2k didn't work either, I sent the folks over at aldlcable, which is where I bought the cable from, an email.
I've even tried using hyperterminal like their instruction say but I get nothing, I'm beginning to suspect the cable it's self.
I've been using computers since the C64 (Commodore) even...
That's, Windows 7 isn't compatible, is what I'm thinking.
I've even changed the properties to run the program in compatibility mode for older versions of Windows.
I guess I'll dig out the 10 year old laptop running Win2k, install the software, drivers and give that a try.

Just checking to see if you got this working.
I'm also on a Windows 7 laptop
With the cable plugged in to only my laptop I have a "USB Serial Port (COM3)" and a "USB Serial Converter" in the Device Manager
