I use Conklin's Parasynthetic grease. It will not mix with water and there is a guy with over 500,000 miles on his suburban front end parts that has used this grease. It is on my site www.tsperformancelubes.com
I mounted the western controller on top of the shifter and hold on to that and use my thumb and for finger for the blade. I don't plow alot but it works for me. I have a 1990 GMC 1500 with a 4.3 v6 long bed reg cab 4x4 works nice.

I called crutchfield they will tell you what will fit your truck and you get the wiring harnesses to plug into the factory setup. You can ask them if they have anything in the scratch and dent area that would fit your truck.
