Got an odd problem. Was doing some work on the truck and when finished I noticed a couple weird things. All the sudden, the airbag light is on on the dash. In addition, the power driver seat doesn't work and the left rear window doesn't roll down.
Is there any one connector, fuse, or...
Not really; it happens only at idle though. If I put my foot down on the throttle a little and bring it a couple hundred RPM up from idle, it stops. Sometimes, just shifting from drive to neutral while not moving makes it stop.
Slight changes in RPM make it go away; so far it's only at...
I don't think so, but I can't really tell because my oil pressure gauge is kinda tweaked out. The stepper motor is gone in it; sometimes it'll randomly just go down below 0, sometimes it works fine.
The noise is intermittent... it comes and goes- even when it's there, usually if I put it in drive or take it out of drive, it stops with the slight change in engine RPM.
Got an ugly bearing noise coming out of my motor. Can't tell if it's inside the motor or off the serpentine belt.
Sounds like your typical bearings about to grenade sound; like a glass jar of BB's being shaken.
It's intermittent; it comes and goes at idle, but is more common when the...
Don't coil up any excess coax; it shouldn't be in a neatly wound circle. You want it balled up with as little coiling as possible; even the best shielded coax will cause interference problems.
It's called a Jesus clip because when you try to remove or install them, they always end up flying under the largest, heaviest item within a 15 foot radius, resulting in you yelling JESUS ******* ******!
Seriously, they're called circlips.
Use a pair of channellocks in the bottom of it; the way it's molded there are two slots opposite each other that the nose end of a pair of channelloks (not the teeth, the nose end part) will fit into perfectly, then just use the whole thing to turn it.
That thing will go like a raped ape. We got one in at work a couple months ago; special edition with the high flow exhaust (sounds like a miniature formula car), aluminum wheels, brush guard, and a bunch of other fancy stuff.
Keep in mind, there's an 820d model available... 820cc Yanmar 3cyl...
My major is MIS, so nothing too code intensive required, but since I toyed around with C# and VB in highschool, I took a few programming classes just for the fun of it. VB is hella fun cuz you can make some pretty powerful stuff without a whole lot of extra work.
Sure are... Old timer ):h.
Build a little incendiary device with a little thermite and a couple relays... quick press of a button and EDR's gone.
Realistically, someone will be made very rich when they start selling aftermarket airbag control modules that do not include event data recorders...
