So I bought a Generac 100 amp generator last year with the intent to fix it.
I finally got time to start working on it and got it somewhat freed up so I can get it to turn over....sort of.
I took the injectors out and put some penetrating oil in there a month or so ago.
The unit has 153...

One of my bulk tanks has fuel in it from summer 2008. IIRC, it had around 150 gallons in it and I had dumped in big bottle of Power Service in it.
I started using it in the truck about a month ago....no problems yet.
Yes, it is on-road fuel. (no dye)
So it has been a few years since my "buddy" had a good "run.
Tonight, "he" was headed somewhere on a rural interstate doing about 6 over in the left lane. To his right were a group of slower cars doing maybe 1-2 over.
A newer Impala comes up on him and decided he wanted to see how much smoke...
IIRC, I have a 4 ton Sears Professional floor jack and it works well. It doesnt pull itself back down real well, but lifts my truck just fine.
I use 5 ton jack stands that I got an an airport auction. Heavty duty for sure.
Priceless!
I find it hard to let off when I reach the speed limit, but I tend to do it...your story is the 2nd one I have seen which ended up in one person being pulled over.
I had to back of the e-brake to get over the ridge of the rotors. Be sure to readjust when you put it back together or you wont have a good working e-brake setup.
As for the pads fitting, I have had to grind any aftermarket pad for my truck or other GM vehicles. The pads need to move back and...
I am looking to replace my 26' flat bed trailer with a heavier duty trailer.
I dont want anything shorter as sometimes 26' isnt long enough and I have never seen a bumper pull trailer longer than 20' for sale anywhere.
What are the pros and cons of a GN trailer?
My truck has the bed cover on...
I have a local lead on a large number of new GlowPlugs PN# 8973649681 for less than $15 each
Is this a good deal and are these the right PN for an LB7?
Are you sure the trailer tires didnt lock up and it was sliding?
You say the truck was sliding, so it is very possible the trailer did too....Once the tires break loose on slick conditions, you lose ALL stopping ability on them.
Turns out the idiot at NAPA either didnt give me the right part, or the napa part is not compatible....and it was a POC plastic grooved pulley. No thanks!
It also seems like a pathetic design how the bolt holds it on to the tensioner (see pics at link)
So back to napa to return the bad part...
