Had more problems with a flat cam on a couple of 454's,than anything. I do think that my 99 350 is a gutless pig in my suburban. But that is more of a weight issue and GM's crappy intake.
I really like the Goodyear Workhorse. I have about 10K on them right now. Quiet and still have excellent grip.

Well it is raining pretty good out, so since I have just completed scanning all the pictures from my high school rebuild I decided I would share. I rebuilt this from the frame up and only the right front fender from the original truck body was useable.
I put a olds 403 with a th 400 in it. I...
Looked at a few chips, but none specify really good numbers from what I saw. On the cam I haven't found out if I will have to do anything with fuel delivery putting in a bigger cam like the one I originally posted. I looked around full size chevy .com and saw a few people working on them, but I...
Is it turbo'd? My '93 I staight piped it with a 5" semi stack and welded it together to exit out the stock position. Loved the sound of it! Turned up my pump for more fuel and drilled out the wastegate control to add more boost. I hated to sell that truck but at the time $$ forced me to.
X2 on trying to sell it. Haven't had any luck cause of gas prices though. And it is paid for so I am NOT taking a low ball price for it, cause I really don't need to sell it. I just drive my truck more.
I did find a superchips for it but it doesn't give hp increase ratings. I'm still leaning towards the cam, I just need to find out if my fuel injection will keep up. ???
I have a vortec 350 in my 99 suburban. Has always been a SLUG. It now has 150K on it and I need to do the intake gasket so I want to put in a hotter cam. Any suggestions? I was looking at:

The equalizer with the bars works great if you want to drop around $500 instead of $3000. Between the allison and the hitch I have gotten my wife to start towing the trailer.:coolgleamA:[
Being in Las Cruces it is probably a guy I went to school with. He has had a couple of DUI's so he would drive a tractor around. But I highly doubt he is going to school.:out:
