Re scanned sensor and one was over 5 ohms and the other two over 7! I'd say it is worn out BUT the real problem is you can only buy the sensor as a unit! Everybody carries the round 3 pin version for Gassers but the rectangular 9 pin for Diesels comes only as a unit with the Accelerator...
The sensors ohmed out at; Sensor 1 was over 6 and two and three at 3.5 with a digital ohm meter! Under acceleration with the key on and the scanner attached, it would not reach full voltage until the accelerator was fully depressed, then it would red full voltage. I recall that when the problem...
Code PO122 Low Voltage at the Accelerator Pedal! Looks like a NEW Accelerator Controller is in my future and a Re-Scan after the new part is installed! That sure beats the hell out of replacing ANOTHER IP! THANKS TO ALL WHO REPLIED AND THE CONVERSATION WITH TURBINE DOC!
I won't turn the key on with anything disconnected! As you stated, don't want to add another code until this problem is read, hopefully Monday afternoon! Thanks, Keith

OK! Friend with Snap On Scanner is away so I will have to wait until Monday for codes to be scanned. Truck started this morning, Service THROTTLE Soon light was off, drove about five mile staying under 45 MPH the whole time using the Accelerator pedal, Accelerator pedal responded as normal, set...

My electronic IP has failed again! I know because the last time it did the Service THROTTLE Soon light came on and while the truck stayed running, it had no response from the throttle pedal! When the PMD failed this past February, the Service ENGINE Soon light came on and it would not start. I...
Schulte, yes, fluid on the shoes will prevent your parking brake from working! WarWagon, old seals have looked good, no overheating on the brake shoes, they barely get worn before one, or the other or both seals leak! Bearings look good and feel tight when torqued to specs!
