here in the great state of Georgia diesel pickups do not have to be emission tested! However if your state does require it you could weld it back on to the downpipe as a fake

gooseneck is definatly the better choice.
If you can afford to get a gooseneck setup that is what i recommend hands down, but those trailors can be pretty pricey

rain-x bug and tar remover is pretty weak. Go up to your local carwash and ask the detal guys for some bug&tar remover. I worked at a car wash years ago and we had some stuff that would take off damn near ANYthing
