Well I got my used power window motor. It came with the whole inner panel. Now do I drill out the three rivets that hold the motor in, or do I have to replace the whole regulator with the motor? Thanks.
Steve
Hey guys. My passenger side power window is inop and I found one for sale off of a 1994. Will this motor work on my 1995? I know this was a transition year for the interior and I am unsure if it will work on my truck. Thanks.

I finally got to installing a genuine ac delco 195f thermostat the other day. My temp still goes right up to the 210f mark, but doesn't go over like it was, maybe because the ambient temp has been lower. I also did the fan clutch mod, but I still don't notice the fan whooshing away. The only...
I buffed out my wifes cars headlights last week. I used 1500 grit wet/dry sandpaper and sanded the lens till it was cloudy looking. Then I used a drill with a buffer wheel I got from Home Depot and buffed it out with turtle wax rubbing compound (green bottle). They were in bad shape, but...
So what your saying is you pulled the tab out of the slot, bent it in the direction of the coil, then rebent the tab 3/16" beyond where the original tab was? Great idea, I was wondering if something could be done like this.

I used POR-15 on the floors on my 1985 chevy and it works very well. They say to use their marine clean, which is a degreaser first then metal prep which converts remaining rust and leaves a phosphate coating. Large scale should be removed first with a wire brush or wheel. Applications of the...
Yes, I totally agree on the great advice given here, and I appreciate it alot. Alot of things, especially the cooling system, are alot different than the gassers I have/had. I will go pick up the thermastat and see what that does for me. Thanks.
Steve
One other thing. I am still wondering if the AC thermastat has "AC" stamped on it or not. I will pick one up from the dealer if I have to, but they want $40.00 for it. Also, just for testing sake, could I run safely with the thermastat removed to see how the truck operates temperaturewise...
As far an I know it is the original radiator. When I flushed it out, I got some tan rusty looking crap out of it and the resevoir tank. I am going to call around to see about getting it opened up and cleaned out real good.
I did clean off the bi-metal spring on the clutch. It had some...
Thats what mine looks like, but like I said, it doesn't say AC anywhere on it. Does an AC have a stamp on it? If it does then mine must be a different brand.
One thing I forgot to mention. When I first drive the truck for the day, I will notice the temp gets up to about 210f, then it will drop all of a sudden down to about 180f, then after I drive for a while the temp drop is not that drastic. I'm not sure if that is the fan kicking on, or the...
I checked the thermastat that was on the truck and it operated smoothly, but I did not actually test its function with hot water. Is the "whoosh" sound of the fan hard to miss? Maybe I am just not noticing it over the sound of the engine and wind noise (while driving).
I did not remove the...
Hey there fellas. I just removed and cleaned out my radiator today because I think that my engine is running a bit hot. While cruising about 55 mph, temp will get up to 210f, sometimes a shade over according to my gauge without pulling a load. I flushed out my radiator inside and out and am...
When I shut my motor down, I get a squeak sound with a little thud, if that makes sense. I grabbed my belt and am able to see the pulley move about a quarter inch or so without a whole lot of effort. Is this normal or is any movement bad. Thanks.
