Normally tcc lock keeps torque converter locked on highway speed which saves some fuel, but it can be programmed to stay locked when you lift your foot from throttle so you will get engine braking.
I think it doesn't impact automatic tranny advantage compared to manual because it can be...
yeah, remove glove box (remove limiter wire from left side if still there, then push from sides of box so it will come through stoppers and then it should fall off)
pull computer so youll get it loose from bracket and then just take 3 connectors away.
change computer and put everything back...
S engine with egr and maf delete combined to almost free boost and extra load of fuel, and tcc lock should stay on while decelaration. ( i'm not going to post all details, but this should be really good tune)

One guy told all 1999-2002 silverados had E-approved park/turn signal lamps in front, but i dont believe that before someone confirms that.
Reason why i'm intrested about these are Finnish regulations...
Does anyone know what logic gm has used when putting E-coded lamps (somewhere on lamp surface is letter E inside circle) to some silverados and sierras?
For example my silverado came with turn/park signals which had both sae/dot and E code approvals, like foglamps too, but rear lights are...
I dont have original cd player in my new truck (2001 silverado 2500hd D/A) So i just removed original tape player from it, and now i'm wondering what is available to fill that hole?
I just got 2001 2500hd silverado and i've been searching Emissions label but i cant find it, where it is located? there is empty spot on radiator shroud, looks like there should be something but nope :mad2:
Double check wires from glow relay to plugs. I had same problem in my burb, i took my clamp on current meter and measured how much one glow takes current and then both banks seperately and together, what i did found was glow plug harness was shot.
I did new wires for each damaged one and wired...
It is my intake, hole behind that blue cap is welded shut and as you can see there is plate welded to that IC which is bolted to lower manifold, sorry for bad picture
Yes, i use 50% water and 50% antifreeze mix in that, really needed, coldest weather this winter at my house was -34 degrees Celsius = -29.2 degrees Fahrenheit
That is wintercooling :D
