Stock "F" series is rated 195/430. A few mods and your up to where you want to be. Honestly, I have driven a 8.1 4x4 dually with a 6spd and it was a beast. The 6.5 will get better fuel economy unloaded or loaded.
I was unsure about the 99.5 when I was standing at the counter. You know that's when all the second guessing comes in:confused:. I knew that the 100" didn't work for squat and wasn't sure the 99.5" would be all that better. I probably should have went with the 99.5" since I'm at the very top of...
Update:
Bought the 99" belt and it is at the very top of the adjustment on the tensioner. It was freezing outside and I ended up having to put the belt in the dryer for a couple minutes. It went right on after it was warmed up and flexible. Anyway, no miles on it yet and I think it will break...
That is what I take away from that reply also. Kinda the same thing you do to your wife when you don't want to do something, give her a little hope to keep her quite, knowing you are never gonna do it.
There is a thread on the other place about the same thing. Cindy from EFI Live has posted on there stating why they have'nt done it yet but they do plan on it, just not in 2009.
IMO I think there is more interest than lets say, V6 Malibu or I5 Colorado which are supported, but i may be wrong.
I don't really understand. The beauty of EFI Live is that you are in control, not a vendor. You can burn up any motor with EFI Live if you don't know what you are doing or you push the tune too far. There are no limits. I have been using it for 2 years and love it. But I really wish I could use...
No, it currently will not tune our trucks. But if it could would people buy it? If we can show enough interest maybe they will add it to the long list of things to do.
In EFI Live support for OBDII 6.5's? Me personally, I would love to see it happen. I've been thinking about it alot lately. I already have the system but it just sits in the back of my truck incase I need it for codes. I was thinking if we could get enough interest maybe they would get around to...
I went to the parts stores in my area and all of them said it was discountinued, wheather it is or not, I had to do something. So I had a tube of high temp copper RTV laying around when I did my exhaust on another car(great for sliding pipe together) and I gobbed it on the flange. Hasn't leaked...
we just call 'em bilge rats):h
I'll be leaving the USN in about a year, will have had 8 years then, and was looking at the MM. I remember refueling with them a few times. Looks they were having a better time than us.:D
Take a 3" pipe and it will slide right over the stock pipe. Probably not the best but that is what I had layin around and it slide over perfectly. Ran a bead around it an no leaks yet.
My 98 has, ugh umm, had a cat. I took it off and thought about scraping it, after reading this I'm glad I didn't. I thought it was wierd that I had a "F" engine with no emissions but still had a cat.
