might be an idea to check the wired end of the 7 pin if you have one. if it get's wet or loose in there, you can get intermittent shorting and it will do things like loss of brake lights, tail lights, and fast signals

yea, i have a boost gauge on there. put in on the same time i wired up the w/g. i know it works. with the w/g stock, it reads stock boost levels like it was said, you will have really high backpressure and your egt's will go up quicker

well, i dunno if i would call him big. more like stupid.... just some guy that liked trying to sell his water setup to everyone? :rolleyes5: Calgary all the way. In my younger foolish years, I cheered for the Canucks. Then I grew up and realized that fairy tales just don't come true. :drama:

Thanks to all. JiFaire- I lived up in Stony Plain for a year. I know you from a forum where you were running someone down. I share a common dislike and joined the forum just to share in shutting him down, lol. Waddya think, Flames or Canucks?

Beautiful thing is, you don't have to. :cheers2: I know all of the above, and have to disagree that it is detrimental. Not to be an &%* but I did learn some stuff about it. It is inefficient, and that is why I am looking for the HX40. But the fact is, it is still pushing more air then your...

you can get a lot more boost out of the GM-X turbos, but they aren't effecient. Under heavy load, i boost my GM-3 up to 23-25 psi, but the EGT's get really high Without a load, it falls on it's face around 3,000 like it was said, the GM-8 will flow better, but I don't think it's anything that...

Found this place following the A-Team turbo thread. I always enjoy finding diesel sites that give support and info. My current truck is a 93 6.5T that is pushing 250,000 miles. The most I have towed with it is 16,000 lbs. I have a build engine that is going into the shop for testing and...
