I had a case of shingles a while back. It was on my face and head. Followed a nerve. Very painful and annoying. Hope you feel better soon Mike.
Hope you get your truck running soon too.
I'm thinking of taking a step backwards and buying a 1999 Dodge 24v Cummins with a 5 speed manual.
Every once in a while 1 slips through somehow. I know I usually kill 15 or more a day before they ever get on the forum. I'm sure the others do the same. These spammers are relentless!!!
Ahh. Ok. I will check that.
I think I will just change the drive shaft U-Joints first, then test ride to see if noise is still there. If noise is still present I'll change out CV joints.
This salt brine in winter has just completely killed my truck. What a shame.
I am just curious to hear if anyone with a 2500 HD around 2006 model year has had to change CV joints yet?
I have a whoop whoop noise going in. Just trying to determine whether to change Front drive shaft universal joints, which seem to be fine, or change out the CV joints. Seems to be coming...
In my truck you pull the front drive shaft then remove the three bolts and unclip wire harness for encoder motor removal. Pretty easy. I think may have a Genuine GM encoder motor if you are interested. I bought the wrong one. 🤦♂️ And they would not take it back. 🤬
Yes you did. We need all of you. You are our eyes and ears on the forum. And we appreciate it.
Funny thing is we get many of them before they ever hit the forum. Some sneak and weasel their way through somehow. Lol
