    allis chalmers b

the plow though heavy, i don't feel is heavy enough to need skid shoes. i don't think it is heavy enough to damage the driveway at the slow speeds of the tractor and as far as wear it will only be hitting 2 maybe 3 driveways. it should outlast my stay in the snowy northeast. 14 years 10...

    allis chalmers b

heres a video from yesterday. then took her out earlier today and did a little yard grading with the snow plow just to see how well she pushes. could definitely use some front weight for steering and considering filling the rear tubes with some anti freeze unless i find chains cheap. but she...

    08-10' nav lights

i don't know if they are bulbs, bulb covers, or the face cover is tinted. i actually emailed delphi and did not get a suitable answer. i ended up getting the denso and wiring everrything up to an amp and it was worth it. done it in 4 trucks now and did normal nav installs on 3 03-06 trucks as...

oil pressure low on the dic

Put your mechanical gauge on the oil gallery port on the block. That is your best bet. And if that truck has not rattled itself to bits with the gauge displaying zero then odds are you have oil pressure. The sending units are known to go out on these trucks as well as the stepper motors in...

Fan Remove and Clutch Bearing Replace

try a new belt. ( if you want to try a freebie, remove the belt, unbolt ac pump and place two washers under each hole to space it up about 3/16 - 1/4 inch that should take up some slack in the belt and add some tension. ) if that doesn't help then if you have already checked the idlers and...

Fan Remove and Clutch Bearing Replace

Nice deal mike!!! That shroud should not make any difference in or out. I towed over 20k through mountains with it in and out with no noticeable change at all. The only difference is its now much easier to change belts, especially if you are stuck on the road!!

Fan Remove and Clutch Bearing Replace

iirc fan nut is 1 1/16 can't be sure though, then you need the fan pulley holder or a LARGE prybar to wedge in and hold the pulley while you unscrew the fan ( i was never a fan of the air hammer trick, i tried it once and cracked the pulley, its cast and it sucks) . it is standard thread, not...
