Thanks Nick!! I agree, I would want something totally sealed. As you know, after winters, the under hood of our trucks is soaked in salt.
Does that S&B unit have a clear lid, or are they just now showing it?? I will not buy anything that does not have a lid.
Thanks for the info on heat soak...
Thanks Nick!!
I think I am going to stay with the stock GM HD filter assembly. I still have more filtering area with the stock filter, and the nice clean MAF that I have, even with some of the dusty conditions that I drive i tells me how well the GM filter works.
Thanks.
And leaving very little to no footprint, compaction is where the Michelins seem to shine.
Are you allowed to spread i winter?? You mentioned only 8 days storage??

Hi All,
I want to wash underneath my hood. Mainly looking at my inner fenders, caked with salt, especially on the drivers side, and around the wiring harness conduit. I am planning on pre-spraying with Zep Orange citrus degrease, and then wash off with a water hose, (not high pressure). Will...

Why the ford axle?? The GM D44 has the pumpkin on the same side as the GM, steering will need to be set up the same, regardless of ford or GM.

Excellent choice. I have the similar ones, open country H/T 265/70/17LT and love them. Got them last fall. Light years better than the Michelin LTX (passenger) tires they replaced. Did you add the cool badges??
