    Thanks Nick!! I agree, I would want something totally sealed. As you know, after winters, the under hood of our trucks is soaked in salt. Does that S&B unit have a clear lid, or are they just now showing it?? I will not buy anything that does not have a lid. Thanks for the info on heat soak...

    Thanks Nick!! I think I am going to stay with the stock GM HD filter assembly. I still have more filtering area with the stock filter, and the nice clean MAF that I have, even with some of the dusty conditions that I drive i tells me how well the GM filter works. Thanks.
