gm went el cheapo when it came to wiring. most of it is undersized. what gauge did you put in for a new cable?
the inhibit switch is down beside the injector.
the large wire(IIRC it's pink) should have 12V key on. the inhibit switch is on the passenger side head right at the back. I know the orange wire goes to the dash light.
does the controller make any noises?
have you confirmed 12V at the studs?
I'll see what I can dig up for ya.
you could have one of two possible filter setup.
the round filter mounted to the back of the intake:
if so you've got the same setup as the 6.5's. 1st line from the tank(3/8") 2nd one goes to the IP(1/4") and the 3rd line from the bottom is the drain hose(for water) there is a valve on the...
sounds like my ride when it's empty. back the tires pressure down to 50-60 psi and the ride will improve alot. mine only calls for 40psi in the rear with 3 guys and 500lbs cargo.
following the link from 'Suberbank2500' I found out it's a "Chinese cell phone connector" 12 pins. what's worse it only has 4 wires for the USB cable and I only need 2 of them.:mad2: the phone was/is made by corunndo. their website has been down for a month already.
I know pos. #6 is a...
I need to find a replacement USB cable for my cell. the manufacturer has changed names and doesn't support their web site. I'm hoping somebody knows what end this is.:(
X3 here. I've had cars so close that I thought they were hooked on the hitch.
mind you the one's that hide in the rear corners and sit there no matter if you speed up/slow down, the just do the same speed as you.
first off, welcome to the truck stop
your right about it being in 2nd gear. that's the default gear.
code 78 don't know that one
81 Shift Solenoid B Circuit Error
82 Shift Solenoid A Circuit Error
83 TCC Solenoid Circuit Error.
I'm wondering if the 78 is actually a 75(System Voltage Low)...
I COULD get better mileage but that's not nearly as much fun. the right foot just keeps getting heavier. oh well, driving a brick does have it's benefits.
when you put the top cover on, did you put it straight down or slide it into place?
is there fuel coming out of the return line on the pump? a short piece of hose and a container to check
OLDBLACKSMOKER is right about needing a good set of batteries for cranking.
The truck has one from TSC(no idea who makes them) still surviving after 8 years of hard use. The van(wife's) has a Canadian tire brand one. can't complain at the CT one, it's got a 10yr warranty free replacement.
for me, there's an independant(no brand name) that I go to 80% of the time. it's one of the few who actually post the price. the price doesn't jump around and you still get full service.
I was reading over the thread and notices your missing one wire. it takes 4 wires total to make it all work. or 3 wires+frame(mounting) ground. reverse, brake/turn, marker and ground.
the old license plate light, did it happen to be a one wire and ground by the mounting bolts?
