it bolts into the ABS....follow the 2 lines from the master cylinder and you'll find 3 allen screws in a triangle pattern....remove the 3 screws and 2 lines and unplug then warning light plug then pull it out of the ABS.... assemble in reverse order....then bleed the whole system....
i changed the portioning valve and i have rear brakes now....this is the valve i used....ACDelco 12548265
and yes you can change the 1 on the ABS....the ABS now works in the rear....this thing has never stopped this good and no front dive......3 allen screws and 2 lines and bleedin' makes life...
draggin' up an old ghost......just gettin' around to doin' my brakes....where in the world is the Brake proportioning valve?.....i can't find it?...on my burb btw...
has anyone used 1 on a 95 burb?....if so which 1 did you get?....i haven't crawled under to see the line size's.....line size would be good too...
thanks
yes but i'm runnin' a GL4 right now.....just want to see what is different....his sales pitch is for those without anything chip wise....sell a guy that has a performance chip with 1 that is better.....thats what i'm after...
kojo i have the same ride as yours but gm4 with 3" lift and 305's.....have you ran a heath gl4?...how does yours differ from his?.....as far peak fuel, rpm, torque curve and shifting?...haven't seen any side by side to compare them to....give me your best sale pitch!!...lol
shorter rod= less compression......a piston and cylinder are a piston and cylinder.....when i build chain saws .017 to .020 squish is worth about 15psi of compression between the 2....and you are doing nothing than raisin' or lowerin' the jug.....same as lengthin' or shortin' the rod....
i checked the shaft....engine has around 185,000 on it and the IP has around 50,000 on it.....i robbed it from a jasper rebuild when the PO blew a heater hose and drove it 25 miles and it's locked up tighter than a tick......won't there be fuel leakin' from it when it was runnin'?....shaft and...
