    Pathetic Towing performance...

What about the guys that pull 5er's with these pickups. What do they see for mileage and performance? I have a friend that has a 36' toy hauler that probably weighs in the neighborhood of 12K and I've considered asking to borrow it for a weekend, but I can't imagine how I could pull it after...

    Pathetic Towing performance...

Hahaha, turbo, I got it! I have an ATT sitting at home but I need the turbo-intake coupler... And I think it might not be the best turbo for my usage. I'm leaning more toward an HX35/40 hybrid. I've had this pickup since 07 and this is the first time I've towed with it. That should say...

    Pathetic Towing performance...

1550F? That seems really hot to me. I thought 1200 was kind of the limit before you're worried about things starting to come apart inside. I forgot to mention that the ECT would rise a little but never broke 200-205. I have a Dmax fan on the original clutch and a set of brand new Delco 195...

    Pathetic Towing performance...

Upon reading my sig, I should clarify a few things. I don't have the Fluidampr, HX40 adapter, Water injection, or HO injectors installed. They are all at home waiting on me to get time. I do not know the history before 289K miles or the age of the pump/injectors. It starts good down to 0F...

    Pathetic Towing performance...

Long story short...I pulled a trailer from Houston to Denver and was disappointed with the pickup the whole way. Any help from the crowd to get this corrected would be greatly appreciated! To give you some info to work with, It's the '99 in my signature. I was fairly happy with the way it ran...

    6.5L .030 Pistons/Rods 18:1 Marine!

I still have them, but like a retard, I forgot to take pics of all that stuff when I was home last week. Now I'm gone again for a while but I will get the pics next chance I get. Sooner if someone is really wanting them!

Keeping an NV4500 cool: aftermarket filtering and coolers

I looked for quite a while to find that rig. It was everything I wanted except 289K miles! I've only seen one other just like it on the internet so you can be sure it was me! Side story: I parked at a Barnes and Noble in Lovenland, CO a couple years ago and when I came out there was 6.5...

    6.5L Injector tester KENT MOORE!

I have an extra KM injector tester for sale. I bought it but later found one new in the box! I haven't had a chance to use it but I see no reason it wouldn't work. Nice units, if you've never seen one in person. Perfect for setting your own custom pop pressure! Looking for $350.

    6.5L .030 Pistons/Rods 18:1 Marine!

I have a used set of low compression pistons attached to factory rods. They aren't new, but still very useable. I can't recall the brand right now and I don't have pics yet, but when I get home I'll get that info for anybody who's interested. I was planning to use them but can't justify it...

    6.5L Heath Turbomaster

I have a slightly used Turbomaster for 93-95 pickups. I didn't take any pics and I'm away from home for a few days but I'll get them when I get back. It's in good useable shape. Looking for $70 shipped.

    New Downpipe Peek

Oh sure, something else to buy! I haven't even used the other DP yet! Let me know when these kits are ready...

    Split shot injectors?

I haven't had any time to put towards this idea but I'm still interested in what could be done with parts already avaliable. Just to clairfy, it's not the nozzle that makes it 'split shot'. It's the internals with 2 springs that allow it to produce 2 shots for each injection event. Essentially...

6.5 Injector Nozzles Non Marine with shim set $25ea

Hey, GM Guy! I've still got that KM pop tester you were interested in. I never found the tubo-master though... If you're still interested, let me know. Otherwise, I might put it up for sale here since Leroy now has parts for sale! In the process of trying to find shims I found 2 unicorns...

    Water/Meth nozzle sizing

That's a dang good price! I thought I stole mine for 400, but that included 5gal of meth and 5gal of 50/50 mix. Which, when thinned enough for our motor, should last until 2075. I'm interested to see what you figure out on the nozzles. Mine came from Dmax, but Snow said the only difference...

    New Crossover

I got a Heartthrob cross over when I put my DE exhaust on. It was 2-1/4" instead of 2.5 and mandrel bent. I think I measured the manifold outlets at 2-1/8" at the time. There's no reason to over do the C/O pipe when the manifolds are the choke point. And it's stainless and I wanted to wrap...

    HX40 wII turbo

That does sound plenty high for an OEM unit. I was told $1395 for the new one when it becomes avaliable later this month.

    HX40 wII turbo

Where do you go for the different housings/wheels? New from Holset or auction winnings? Maybe a turbo shop has used ones?

    HX40 wII turbo

Me too! The exhaust made half the difference! OK, maybe it was 60/40 tune to exhaust, but I was actually dissappointed after I put the tune in because the exhaust was so awesome! Best bang for the buck by far. If you're still running the OEM pipe, PM Leroy RIGHT NOW!:D I don't think...
