I'm swapping out the IP this weekend. Should I use a lubricant of some kind to try to prime/lube the new pump before cranking it dry for first start?

Yup I did that too looking for a intermittent short that left me broke down a time or two (that turned out to be air bubbles) messing with the cam reference and not tripping a code right away... That's also when all the grounds were cleaned.. This truck has been driving me crazy!

Pulled the sensor, truck started right up NO SMOKE, NO STUMBLING, NADA!!! I have been trying to chase this Gremlin out for an embarrassingly long time!!! Never once thought to look that direction or disconnect that sensor... I changed them all last summer... Good to go now!!! Right??? A bad...
