The runs were in 4wd and I wish I had some stickies to bolt on to try to get in the 12.70's. I think having 4 of them would do it and bring the 60foot times down to 1.7036. Its a lofty goal but I can feel it in my bones.:mad2: Here we go!
Thanks
It was a lot of fun to be racing again with my bud Paul and I'm happy with how it went. I do still think there is more to get. I tried to scan the time slip but its a bad copy. So my wife is going to try it at work tomorrow.
My 60 ft was 1.7636
mph 102.97
E.T. 12.94
As soon as she gets...

Don't do it. The stock converter is why your and everybodys clutches get burnt. Its efficient for stock HP only. There is not a cheap way out. Just save your money for a good converter and new clutches from a vendor you can trust and will gave you good support during the build. IMO.
Thats even better. You will be raving here about them soon. A scale of 1 to 10 They are 9.0 due to I have not drag raced on them yet. And the tires that I had before were BFG T/A KO's and they were an 8.0.
I believe I have boasted enough about Hankook DynaPro RF10 tires to the point of not being believed. JK go to Sears to have them price match Discounttire . cum , I ordered mine from them when it was a national back order also and they came through in a week. If you don't want to wait.
On top of that it shows in the video to be on street tires. No way. Not enough traction to get those times. From the factory, no tunes, street tires, nothing but how it came from the dealer = No Fraggin Way.
Good Information, thanks fella's.
We have removed the engine out Paul's truck last year with the lift but left the trans in. No need to work on it. I was just putting some thoughts on paper so to speak to get other ideas. I just read about a guy that lifts the whole body off the frame to do...
Thanks
Thanks for all the replies guys. I wish not to go past 550hp at this time, due to its our family truckster has well has my playtoy. From the way it looks I'll wait until the injectors go bad to address the HG problem.
Vinny, in removing the engine and transmission, do you remove both...
Double
Can the foam be doubled in all areas or are there restrictions, like where the seats install ? Would it be too thick to reinstall the seats ? Or do you think it would not be necessary?
This may sound a little ridiculous but here goes. I don't have a headgasket problem yet, but to prevent it from happening, would it pay to remove the valve covers and all related parts in order to remove the head bolts one at a time and replace them one at a time with studs?
Your right. Pulp wood plant closed years ago through. But the stinky pogey plant is in full operation. PM me when you come down and I'll gave you my cell number to meet. What's PGR? Pilgram ?
P0540 mils reads: intake air heater circuit
P0543 mils reads: intake air heater A circuit open
To me that would mean that it senses just the circuit and reads the temp at a different area, like the "intake air intake temperature" (IAT) sensor, which would be P0112 and P0113 mil, but I could be...
