Well Hoot honestly I didn't mean to step on your toes by any means. The only experience I have with the cummins is a friends truck that's a '99 and has 240,000 miles on the stock transmission. It's still going but everyone tells her (and me when I talk about the truck) that we're on borrowed...
Yeah, it used to not pop up on me like that, we'll find it and fix it!
Take care, be safe and best wishes for no rain/slight mist rather than a downpour!
Ohhh, Also in Maximum boost pressure, or anything to do w/ boost pressure, it's baro pressure PLUS the boost pressure. So don't freak out when it says something like 40 lbs and you're boost gauge only shows something like 24 lbs...
Also, Just FYI - When you open up the tuning tool, goto "Edit", "Configure Display Units", Select the button for "all" (all the selection will be highlited blue") and then press the "imperial" button.
It'll all make alot more sense to you then! It was a painful few days until I found that...
Was your speedo correct when it was doing that? I'm just wondering if the input sensor said one thing, and the load sensor from your pedal said another... Not sure though.
I started with a fresh new install of my computer's everything, and now that you say it, mine does the same thing... grrr
forum.efilive.com is a helpful place for questions like that, I'm going to check it out also.
Stacks, I'm not sure, but isn't there pins (hardware related stuff) To make his truck work w/ DSP2? I'm just askin.
Hey Pepp! Did you reset the TAPS when you uploaded Trippin's tune? I'm not saying 100% that's it, but, it's worth a shot.
If I remember Trippin's tune right it had it more 'in...
Stay well away from the 6.7's, I've read NOTHING but horrid problems with them. My friend from the ranch want one; she really liked the test drive except for the seats (I guess they suck).
So i started reading up on it for her; man, I was seriously shocked.
I love my GM but I have to say, other than the transmissions the Cummins is one hell of a simple, reliable, long lasting motor(5.9). So that sentence isn't entirely true up there.
Man, try to make a sharp turn with that thing. I wonder if it's just one dummy axle (not hooked to drivetrain) and the one in front as the driving wheels?
You know, it spools up quicker and 'feels' like it has a bit more oomph on the seat dyno.
I wish i would have had an EGT gauge before and after to compare but I didn't :(
Well looking at your list of mods :drool5: I'm pretty sure I'd be staring at your taillights!!!:driving:
Glad to have you both on the new board, enjoy!!! :D
As long as her husband can't whoop my ass, I'll volunteer for the legging position :D
Just kidding! :)
Welcome, nice to have you and your husband aboard!

I hope we don't let you down w/ the 6.5 section! We're new and the more you add the better it'll get.
Nice to see all these familiar faces here, i'm glad you made it!
