    BOOM!

Apparently my attitude has displayed an overall lack of care, recklessness, and no appreciation for the damage I have caused. I apologize if it came out that way. I guess it's just my strong human instinct that tells me to test limits, experiment, and perfect. I have conversations with my...

    BOOM!

thank you Dave. No intentions of ever building one.

    BOOM!

on the upside I will save on insurance the rest of the fall/winter and have a nice running 96 truck to drive.

    BOOM!

I would have expected my IP to go long before the engine when it started making noise. The engine has been eating a quart of coolant every month(cracked heads), getting worse, and about a week before this, I noticed a slight lower end knock(not a tap) develop. I knew it was gonna go soon...

    BOOM!

a Single 625cc nozzle and 49%meth/50% water Snow brand Boost Juice currently. I worked my way up from 15% meth to that point(upped by around 10% each month until now) progressive Meth(WMI) controller was set to start small flow at 12psi most recently, and full flow at 14.5-15psi.

    BOOM!

18psi, 12 gallons of meth, 100,000mi+ previous tow use, and over 9000 miles of my abuse every day has finally shown the weakness of my 6.5 engine. hole in pan, starter hanging... so a new powerplant will be my main focus over the winter. stronger, better, faster. the Camaro sits...

Transplanting a 6.5 to the Buckeye

glad to have another 6.5 owner here in Ohio. welcome! I don't think you will regret buying a 6.5 truck. And I believe your truck is mechanically injected for any mid90's NA engine(less electrical, easier to diagnose) Like you said, focus on getting all the small problems fixed, then worry...

crud in my fuel tank, stretched wire harness?

the 96 c2500 in my sig is having a strange problem. Under an abrupt accel, the truck cuts out fuel and dies. This only happens when I encourage it to, sometimes not(intermittent) So, the usual... -batteries are ok, alt ok -just replaced all main cable terminals and grounds, starter, engine...

    Military DB4

still looking for a test mule? the Camaro is in need of a pump and I think she has all the necessary supporting mods and a nice flowing turbo. wouldn't mind bolting on your hand-built IP for some testing and reporting back.

there isn't much to see. the pressure pump is tucked behind my headlights, the controller(just a box),reservoir is on my radiator(1 gal) and the nozzle is plumbed right on the upper intake manifold(vinf) I also driled/tapped a second nozzle hole for more wmi if I get itching for more power...

thanks for stoppin by 3500GMC. the front bumper crash pad was removed. upper/lower core support removed and replaced with 1" dom steel. radiator position went from angled to true vertical. I feel the front is lighter and more ridgid than factory. the k-member was seamed welded when first built...

it's late here. but, what the hell I'll respond. your tire rub issue. umm could be a couple things. Have you rear springs sagged overtime? do you have lowering springs? if either you could have panhard or axle-to-body alignment issues. Does it only rub on one side around turns? is it rubbing...

new here, with a 6.5L Camaro

I have decided to keep the car as of now. As of way of preventing myself from selling it, it's going under the knife for surgery. Plans: -route exhaust to the back of the car, muffled in some way -buy rebuilt db2 pump since mine has been having no hot start conditions for 3 months, still...

new here, with a 6.5L Camaro

yes, had a set of taller M&H drag radials and 17inch wheels but they got loaned to a friend for few track sessions. Well, a few turned into several, then he ended up buying them from me since I never hit the track. I would go with a taller street tire but my rear Michelins are near new and a...
