6.2L WTB 6.2 or early 6.5 Throttle pump brackets.

Is that what you're looking for? Love the junior moose. Even better on a fresh 6.2, vs the tired 6.5

6.5L 6.2 and 6.5 blocks and miscellaneous bits.

Cleaning house after replacing the 6.5 with a 6.2 in October. Located Fort Myers (Southwest) Florida (33903 zip for shipping calcs) A complete 599 short block. approx 300K on the clock. Shows a ridge at the top of the bore. Haven't pulled the pan. Spring on #7 exhaust valve collapsed, decided...

    Hard starting

Sounds pretty normal to me. Maybe a little bit of a slow idle. Maybe mine just idles a bit higher. Been six months since I've heard mine run at all....... Clean the gunk out of your cdr, preferably NOT by burning it out.;) I use brake cleaner, some rinse them out with diesel fuel, or mineral...

6 to 10 seconds is fairly normal for glow time. I've got fairly new glows and am in s Fl and mine typically will glow about 7-8ish. If you don't know how miles are on your injectors, or you suspect it is over 100k or more, it couldn't hurt to pull them, and at least have 'em cleaned and tested...

Are you in road salt country? Perhaps a pin hole rusted in one of the steel sections of fuel line? Is your relocated PMD on a heat sink, and is it secured in place, i.e. not just sliding around inside the bumper nostril. Fuel solenoid (PMD) problems can manifest all sorts of troubles. I was...

Rebuild kit is a new part. You can unplug the harness, but the part that leaks is on the side of the heater itself. If you remove the heater, you'll have about a 3/8" hole in the bottom of the filter housing. There's NO living without the heater. If the housing itself isn't weeping anywhere...

    Hard starting

Get some brake cleaner, spray down the filter housing, and suspect areas so no fuel is present, and everything is clean and dry. Come back a couple hours later and locate the leak. If your filter housing is in stock position on back of intake it's real hard to see what's going on at the bottom...

Sounds like air in fuel lines to me, possibly bad glows, or a combination. Someone correct me if wrong, but a weak injector will white smoke continuously? Test lift pump by jumping the aldl. Lift pump wont run if you don't have oil pressure, assuming you have a non modified factory set up...

    OPS question

Well, since I really had no definitive answer to my original question (will the OPS register a pressure signal to the dash gauge) I just went ahead and finished up this part of my huge project for the moment I drilled and tapped the oil fill tube for the return line, installed my flare fittings...

    OPS question

This pic of the mocked up system might help. I'm using a generic Baldwin spin on by pass housing sourced from NAPA. It has 1/8" NPT in/outlets. The NAPA spin on (2 micron)filter also has 1/8" restriction holes in it. I believe the concept is not to reduce pressure from the main filter circuit...

    OPS question

Setting up my bypass oil filter. I'm taking the feed oil from the top of the extension hose on my OPS. That means I need to create a tee using a 1/4 npt nipple into the top of the extension hose, with a bushing out the side for an 1/8 npt to the filter housing, and re installing the OPS on top...

    DB2 and DS4

I made the switch earlier this year. I tried a db2 pump I had on the shelf for a while, no good. Then I went thru two "rebuilt" 4911's from Pensacola diesel. Both were junk. Got the "Junior Moose" pump from Conestoga diesel in Pennsylvania. They do their own builds, whereas many just buy from a...

    Homemade full manual 4L80E

Yep, had all the bolts. Just took some more jiggling and cursing and out it came. Was hung up on the passenger side dowel pin. Perhaps the downpipe heat creates a bit more corrosion on that side? Anyway, the tranny is out, and stenciled on top of it is 08-12-02 some initials and what looks like...
