Probably not fully tasseled yet. My next 4 acre patch is 50% tasseled, and there is not one silk yet. Give it a day or 2 and the fine white silks will show up. That is when I hit it hard with pesticide. I am currently rotating with hero and warrior, but also use mustang max, and proaxis...
What he said, that corn needs feed. Nitrogen will help make big ears. I am guessing that you have to many plants for the amount of soil and that will hamper ear size.
Local grocery chain, local fruit/veg distributer. Plus some farm pick up, and our own retail
They are both being real tough this year. It has to have a core temp of 38 or they reject it.
Love the badlands. We have a array of things to take. I have a nissan pickup, and yamaha big bear. My brother has a locked front and rear cherokee, and samurai.
I have never bent a tie rod, but have cognito's on hand to replace the stockers. Also have braces and new idler/pitman arms. With 60k, farming, plowing and raising hell, I figure the front end needs some love.
I never do boosted payment launches, but have been in mud to the frame giving it...
Alright I'm thinking I have something else going on.
I was driving this AM, still dark. My lights went dim for a second, and then back to normal. Volts dropped way off, than came back.
Batteries were new before winter snow plowing(napa spiral cells). I suppose one could be going bad, or...
I have had this happen one other time. Today I start my truck head to the farm and start loading stuff. Probably ran 10 minutes before shut down. I hop back in and start it up and have a dead fuel, volt, and oil pressure gauges. I did not have my efi-live with me, called the wife to bring it...
All with mexican diesel's.
We hand pull and put in on a conveyor that stretches out 13 rows, then it dumps onto another conveyor that heads to the wagon. We have a byron 103 in the barn for insurance if we need it. I would like to have a pixall puller, but they just won't get enough work...
Wow that is crazy.
I am behind, I shoot to be picking on the 4th. It has been in the ground long enough, but the early cold slowed it way down.
On the plus side, the first 15 acres have the nicest plants I have had in a long time, just hope the ears turn out that good.
