A friend of mine is going to look at an 07 F-350 6.0 powerstroke with 46,000 miles on it. The dealer said it has a banks exhaust and intake on it from the previous owner which makes me wonder if the guy also had a tuner in it. What should he be looking for to see any signs of excessive wear...

What is odd is that it hasn't happened again since I posted about it. I checked for any codes and there are none and the windshield wipers have not acted up since either. I was able to get my hands on a set of GM repair manuals so maybe these might be able to shed some light on it.

I've had a couple of odd problems with my 07 LMM. The first one is a starting issue. Somtimes it dies immediately after it starts. All I do is shut the truck off and then it will start back up again. It doesn't throw any codes and once it is started it runs fine. It happened twice in a row...

I just ran across an 03 reg cab LB7 and the owner had it priced at $14,000 with 66,000 miles. Is this a good price? We are looking to use it as a plow/work truck for our construction business. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
