Finally, been able to put the plate on...What a PITA!!! Anyways, the turbo whistle just got super loud. Seems like the spool up is quicker. :)
Hope I don't have to mess w/ EGR again...maybe if I ever pull the motor I'll delete the EGR itself...LOL!
Maybe, if you wait a little longer...probably can get it down way lower. The sales for big trucks ain't happening from what I've read...and w/ the price of diesel keeps going up, might get lucky and get it for 39g or lower...LOL!
My compressor just failed...now I'm replacing it w/ Viair 150 psi 2 gallon. Those cheaps ass compressor just can't hack it! Well, it was fun while it lasted...even though they were relatively cheap, they're not worth it....lesson learned. LOL!!!
Replaced my cheap horns w/ Kleins 220. Kept everything else. Man...it went from okay to something worthy. I'll try to post a sound clip when I get a chance.
Offered them $140. Some one informed me that the air line crush sleeves weren't holding out for their use. Mine's been fine though..Lots of Fun...:pound:
Wuz up? Put on some train horns I got @ ebay. I don't recomend them because of quality, but hey...they're pretty loud and I've been having a blast wit 'em. Kit consist of 110 psi compressor, 3 horns, solenoid, and misc stuffs. :D:horn:

I used to have oil weepage on my Turbo Intercooler Pipes. GM says that it's normal 'cause of closed PCV system...
When I did an open system reroute it stopped the oil weepage. Motor seems to run better. :)
I've replaced the plastic coupler w/ an older type metal coupler, I found at a hydraulic shop. You will need a Lisle type tool (AC/Fuel Line disconector) to be able to remove the metal coupler.
You'll need to remove the airbox to have some room to manuver, it's really tight where it's at.
I asked my dealer if similar plastic coupler on any vehicle they've work on have ever failed...to the best of their knowledge, this was the 1st reported incident. There's no TSB on this. This is probably just an isolated incident.
As I stated, good thing it happened at home. At WOT, it would...
