Yes, the Service Throttle Soon light does come on, and no the truck doesn't run right now. I will try this tonight after i crawl out from under another bowtie. Hopefully i can get narrow this down soon, or i'm going to offer this truck up to the highest bidder!
I guess i should mention that the fuse that fuse that is supposed to be in the center of the fuse box wasn't there until tonight, and looks like it was melted so it may not work now
I haven't tried jumpering it yet, but i don't have an SES light (i'm sure i do, but it is either burnt out, or doesn't like me and won't come out to play when i want it to)
I am slowly but surely getting back into working on the diesel, and am trying to get any codes i can from it. I recently purchased a code reader that does both OBD-I and OBD-II. I cannot seem to get the scanner to read my Yukon though. I wanted to ask if my connector looks like everyone else's?
I haven't checked anything yet, as i have been under the weather the past few days. I have to fix my daily driver this weekend before i can tinker with this anymore, so it may be monday before i can get to checking the codes, but i will post as soon as i can.
Well i have never seen the SES light come on at all, so i guess i am SOL with that route for now. I will look under the column tomorrow, but i have a feeling i'm not going to like what i find. I plan on getting a code reader in the future, guess that just made it the near future now.
