    Getting my CUCV today!

Thanks Acesneights1. BTW, the dash is pretty badly cracked. I know you had asked about it previously. So I got it home, and today, I managed to break the crank on the back window. :( Damnit. Whats the best way to replace that mechanism?

    Getting my CUCV today!

Well, I went yesterday to Clovis and picked it up. It had been sitting since the day after Christmas when it wouldn't start. Previously, when it wouldn't start, it was about 15 degrees outside. It had taken several minutes for the Glow Plug light to go out, and when I tried to crank, the...

    Getting my CUCV today!

Thanks a bunch! I'm glad to be here! My buddy had a 700r4 transmission that he suggested I should put in to improve my gas mileage, but I'm thinking I'm going to be pretty darned happy with the THM400. Anyone know what kind of gas mileage I can reasonably expect?

Ah.. a plate like this? Sorry for the overexposure in this picture. My photography class instructor would yell at me. Bolts on the side where I assume the radio was mounted... The owner before me installed a center console out of another Blazer.

Its been semi-converted to civilian use. New bumpers, split windows, and a paint job. I was explicitly told on another forum that it was NOT a CUCV, but the VIN matches. 1G8ED18J6EF###### when checked against http://service.gm.com/dealerworld/vincards/pdf/vincard84.pdf shows it to be a CUCV...
