99 Suburban Rear Heater hose tee leaking

Thank you will for the compliments on my video, I was trying to get out of the hotel that I was staying in. I've been on the road for over three weeks and I'm way behind schedule in my projects before winter, and it's going to snow on Friday. I've got some roofing to do, that I've been putting...

99 Suburban Rear Heater hose tee leaking

My heater T blew yesterday 350 miles from home, on a 4500 mile trip from California. 2001 Suburban 2500-6.0 litre. Fortunately I had just taken the wrong exit on the interstate due to my GPS getting confused, and I ended up on a quiet side street in a residential neighborhood with plenty of...

What Brake Pads To Buy??? 1995 Suburban K2500 6.5TD 4x4

I guess I neglected to click on the "get replies" button. Anyhow, I just changed the LF wheel bearing, I ordered a Timken (USA) from FLAP, and it actually cost less than the China junk. I suppose I'll have to live with the stupid press off issue. I'll go look at the Wagners. Any thots on the AC...

What Brake Pads To Buy??? 1995 Suburban K2500 6.5TD 4x4

I bot this rig in November 2011 in Phoenix, and since the brakes were grinding against the rotors, I immediately installed new Advance Auto premium pads, of course made in China. They have lasted 40k, and have worn the rotors a bit. I don't recall exactly which ones I bot, ceramic of metallic...

My "84 Suburban 6.2-700R4 Stopped Shifting...

I just came back from a road trip to Florida, and had a friend of a friend rebuild a newer style auxiliary valve body ('86 up) 700 tranny. He also checked my old valve body and I re-installed it, and same old, no shifting. So $900 later I will start the removal process... It was 80f yest, 46f...

My "84 Suburban 6.2-700R4 Stopped Shifting...

Update... no news lol... It's been a longgggg cold winter, and before winter I removed the servo piston on the pass side of the case, but the engine to TC strut is really in the way, so I can't put it back together, nothing looked wrong there. I do have another servo assy from the junk '88 parts...

Does -6mm Negative Offset Rims Stick Out?

Hey Will, were can I buy the larger flares? Too bad, I just had these painted. I have some "bolt-on" flares on a junk Jimmy, I guess that's the kind you're referring to. I would just put them in the front, and I guess have them painted again.

Does -6mm Negative Offset Rims Stick Out?

We have a '95 Suburban 3/4 ton 4x4, and when I bot it 3 years ago, I put on MB Razor 16" wheels and 285-75R16 Falken WildPeaks. The tires stick out past the fender flares, and the tire spray covers the side of the truck with whatever I drive thru, and I'm not wild about the look-wide...
