    Yeah I'll carry a spare current alt is fine and an ebay supposed 200 amp but acts like a 130 amp.

    Thanks Big T for the quick response I'll keep the stock pulley on to prolong the lifespan. Running a big audio system and finally had enough messing with smaller alternators. Eventually will install 2 stock alts if this double rectifier alt doesn't last long. I will post pics when Im done.

    I don't know what that test is. I don't know when it was last replaced.

    Thanks ak diesel driver, 3 bals and war wagon for your input. I will use my brothers pmd he has on his burban bumper/skid plate version also ill go through the grounds especially the one on the trans dipstick. The baro sensor on my truck was connected but NO VACUUM tube on it never remember...
