    CA smog legal LML

Hey guys, haven't been around in a bit. I sold my 6.5 and bought an LML and am having some problems with the emissions gear on it. It started with a low coolant level alarm but the tank was full, then the exhaust fluid quality alarm. I decided to take it to the dealer when it went to 55 mph...

    15K lbs toy hauler

Thanks Dave. The trailer in the avatar is what got me int his forum. I realized when I bought that trailer that I was going to kill the truck when pulled it over the Cueast grade in SLO and the truck overheated. That trailer is about 9500 lbs empty. Now I bought a 43' cyclone toy hauler (13'...

    15K lbs toy hauler

What about the trailer brakes. Shouldnt the trailer brakes take care of the trailer weight and then the truck only has to deal with it's own weight? I really liked the engine brake on the powerstroke. Tapped the brake and it maintained that speed all the way down. When did chevy make that stock...

    15K lbs toy hauler

I pulled it home with F350 powersmoke and it did great. I didnt have to go over the grapevine but I would guess it would do it at 30-35mph like the big rigs, just get in line. No? Well the duramax is going to be better than the 6.5.

    15K lbs toy hauler

DRW. lots of heath stuff done and lots more planned to get everything I can out of it until I got the response in this thread (which I appreciate the honesty). I recently took a bit of a hiatus from the forum as life had me going in other directions and I thought I remembered previously seeing...

    15K lbs toy hauler

OK so decent chance of the engine performing with upgrades. How about suspension. I think the fifth wheel applies about 4500 of tongue weight on the truck. I know that is going to make the truck squat like crazy and that I could install airbags to lift it back up but what about the driveline...

    15K lbs toy hauler

well I didnt think it would be a question stock. Im thinking, PMD relocate, Heath 4" exhaust, Heath turbomaster, heath cooling kit, heath chip, upgraded fuel delivery (like walbro and tank sump), turbo upgrade, gauges and maybe heath towing cam. You think then it will make enought to pull 15K...

    New Heath turbo

I would assume that Heath would have a turbomaster on his turbo and NOT the vacuum crap!

    eaton m112 supercharger

I heard Jay Leno had a turbine on a motorcycle and had to run a red light because a Hondo pulled up behind him and the "at idle" exhaust starting melting the bumper on the Honda. Just what I heard, dont know if it is true or not.

    New Heath turbo

Hey Pav when did you get the heath turbo?

    New Heath turbo

I see Heath has a new turbo set up. When I spoke with him some time ago he mentioned that he hired the engineer that did his Bonneville turbo to design this one for towing. Has anyone bought it and installed it? It is a bit pricey compared to the ATT (about $1300 compared to $800 for ATT) but he...
