I have heard that 15 psi is the highest boost a stock 6.5 can handle without modification. I already have a boost gage and will install a egt gage when I do the crossover pipe.

Thanks everyone hopefully I'll have it installed this weekend just have to remember to set the waste gate to around 15 psi.

Thanks for the reply. Looks like I might have to spin the exhaust to line up with my down pipe which is a 3 inch not 4 inch as stated earlier.

Hello everyone I just got a hx35 turbo for my 99 gmc 3500 6.5l turbo diesel. I was wondering if if matters if the exhaust flange is divided or if it has to be the open one like my gm8 has. I already installed a 4 inch turbo back exhaust with a 4 inch down pipe still have to do the crossover...

Well the truck has been in the shop since Wednesday. He found that the fuel pressure is a little low he also fount a fuel leak somewhere on the injection pump. Told him to go ahead and fix it.

Should have the exhaust tomorrow does anybody know what size bolts are on there cause I'm sure some of them are going to break when I try to remove them.

Any performance gains in a #9 resister?

Should have the money today for the injectors. Gotta take it in as they are very rusty I don't wanna take a chance on breaking anything.

Just ordered a 4" diamond eye turbo back exhaust from KT performance got it for $236 with free shipping. from what I hear that's one of the best exhaust systems for our trucks. Should I also order a new cross over tube as well? The kit comes with a 3 in down pipe.

Just got done reinstalling the waste gate and air box with oem filter. Working on priming and painting a front fender.

Thanks for the warm welcome GM GUY. Yesterday I replaced the o ring for the fuel heater and water in fuel sensor. I also put in a boost gage. I will put the waste gate back on today as well as reinstall the air box today if it stops raining long enough. The west coast mirrors were on the truck...

Going to get some fuel line this morning hopefully will have the leak fixed in short order.

Finally got a pic I will be attempting to fix the fuel leak either today or tomorrow. If all goes well then I'll probably order new injectors and glow plugs.

What size fuel line and how much for the lines on the fuel filter bowl?
