Has anyone measured roughly the amount of fuel return that returns to the tank? Just curious.

would that be different from the amount of fuel that falls to the ground? LOL My truck is like a harley, it leaves little tell-tale signs of its been there. LOL

I'm sure it does, but roughly.
At idle when I pop a return line of its a little dribble. Not sure what its like under load.
Is it a little bit, or is it a lot? It must be a little amount.
Those scanner readers that read MPG's read incoming fuel. What they don't measure is return fuel. Just a curiosity thread is all.
Varies, relative to the pressure and volume of the lift pump - return will be greater at idle, reducing as rpm and loading increases - that's where yer supply pressure is ~6psi at idle, dropping to 0psi at fwot - most return is from the 'metered' return ports of the injectors
